When you contribute to our dog shelter donation efforts, you’re reaching dogs facing desperate situations in overseas public shelters. Many of these animals have been abandoned, neglected, or are on borrowed time, and your support ensures they receive food, shelter, and medical care. We work tirelessly to help these dogs transition into safe foster homes, preparing them for adoption into loving families. Every donation goes directly to the welfare of the dogs.

Our Overseas Dogs
All our dogs are fully vaccinated, blood tested (including brucellosis), microchipped, wormed and flead and neutered if over a year old. They arrive with a health certificate and an EU passport.
Adopters are expected to offer lifelong homes, training and have a secure garden. Adoption fees apply.

Now they are about 4.5 - 5 months old and running around everywhere, getting into the usual puppy mischief. They have been around other dogs and plenty of cats. They are friendly with an edge of shy too until they know you. They are small in size and will probably be a small medium to medium at maturity.

Linda
A little girl thrown out the car at a train station in Tecuci. Our rescuer Andreea was informed of the situation by her friend and went to rescue Linda. She is a gentle, sweet, very friendly puppy. She loves human contact and loves to be cuddled, she socializes well with the other dogs in the yard and is comfortable around cats. She is around 5 months old and we think she will be small medium size when grown.
Sofi
A little girl found abandoned on the streets with her siblings and they were all taken to safety by their rescuer. She is a friendly and playful girl who loves the company of other dogs and people. We don't have any information about cats. She is very small at the moment and we're told at maturity she should be around 8-10kgs. She is living in a home environment in safe foster. She is 4 months old
Melinda
A little pup found with her siblings near the cat rescue. Unfortunately people have been trying to catch the mum so we can spay her which is proving very difficult. For now the pups are being looked after at the cat rescue. Here we have a friendly little girl of 5 months old. Medium is the maximum size we think she will be. The mum is around 12kgs. They all love to run around and play with each other all day. They are a bit scared of the big dogs, but they will all thrive in homes.
Lucy
A little girl that was tied up in a sack with her siblings and dumped in a field. Our lovely Ioana rescued them. It was so sad because two of the puppies died. She is now 5 months old. She is sweet with everyone, dogs, cats and people. She is friendly, but shy. She needs an understanding person to spend some quality time with her. She likes to spend her days playing, eating and sleeping. We think she will remain fairly small.
Oreo
A little boy who's mum was found in a field pregnant with him. She was rescued and little Oreo was born at the rescuers house. She had one puppy and has found a home herself in Switzerland. Oreo remains with his rescuer. He has grown up around dogs and is friendly to people. He is very sweet and playful and is into the usual puppy mischief. He is 4.5 months old and its likely that he will be medium in size when fully grown. He is energetic

Albert
A little boy we have at the public shelter who will come out when he is reserved. We vaccinated a number of pups recently to give them a chance. Albert is one of the survivors. He is a little overwhelmed there and it's not a pleasant experience for any dog. He is very sweet and friendly with an edge of shyness and caution at the moment. He will relax more in a different environment. He gets along well with the other puppies. Some are his siblings and some are not. We think he will be medium in size. He is about 4 months old at the moment.
Orchid
A little girl and one of Daisy's pups who we rescued from the street when about to give birth. Orchid is approximately four months old now. She is very sweet and playful. A friendly girl who likes to play all day with her siblings. She is in a shelter environment inside the clinic room with a yard to run in during the daytime. She gets along well with all of the other pups and the helpers there. She is small in size and we think she will remain fairly small as her mum is quite little.
Aspen

Lotus
A little boy and one of Daisy's pups who we rescued from the street when about to give birth. Lotus is approximately four months old now. He is very sweet and playful. He gets along well with all of the other pups and the helpers there. He is small in size and we think he will remain fairly small as his mum is quite little.
Kiki
A sweet girl that our friends found in Romania and one of them has her at her house. She is friendly and affectionate, loves people and their attention and company. She loves a fuss. She walks very well on a lead as they have been practicing with her. They say she's very obedient with them. She loves to play in the water. Her best friend there is another little rescue dog. Unfortunately they had no luck in Romania to find her a good home so have asked us to help. She will probably be medium in size when grown. She is 6-7 months old.
Chazz
A little boy who was abandoned on the fields on the outskirts of Tecuci with his mum and sister when he was just a few weeks old. He's now around 8 months old and has been in the care of our rescuers for some time. He's sweet, friendly, playful and affectionate, a typical puppy. He's been raised around dogs and cats. He's around 40cm high and weighs 12kg. We think he will be small medium when mature.
Loris
A sweet boy who was found on the edge of the town of Tecuci abandoned. Andreea was called to help him. He is now safe with her. He is friendly with everyone now he knows he’s safe. He likes attention and a fuss. He’s very affectionate to Andreea. He has had practice on a lead and has got along well. He is medium in size. He is 9 months now.
Violet
A little girl rescued from Radauti public shelter. She was captured and incarcerated there when she was very tiny with her sisters. We vaccinated them and prayed they would survive. We moved them out to safe foster. Here they have enjoyed better conditions, good food and caring people around them. Violet is still very shy. She needs a quiet, understanding home who will help her gain some confidence. She is very sweet and kind, but can be nervous. She is used to teenage children and is great with other puppies, she's cat tested. In the right environment, she will bloom. She is small in size, around 10.5 months old.
Dante
Dante is one of Dea’s eight puppies, born on the streets of Tecuci city. Dea arrived pregnant and gave birth right next to the kennels. The entire family is now in Andreea's care. Dante is a gentle, sweet, very friendly puppy, he loves human contact and loves to be cuddled, he socializes well with the other dogs in the yard and is comfortable around cats. He is approx. 1 years old, medium to large at 40cm high and weighs 15kg.
Athena
Athena was rescued from a yard where people kept her in unimaginable conditions. Now in Marina's care, Athena is a gentle, sweet dog who loves being cuddled and receiving attention; she is friendly with other dogs, cats, and children. She is around 2 years old, small at 25cm high and weighs 6kg.
Layla
A little girl who was hanging around outside a supermarket for some time. A lady was feeding her and she was most happy about the fact that somebody has noticed her. She liked the attention better than the food. She was taken to a safe foster where she has fitted in very well with everyone. She's getting along well with the people and the other dogs. She's had practice on the lead and been cat tested. She is very loving and affectionate, with a calm, gentle, and friendly personality. Layla is around a year old, medium size, 45cm tall, 18kg.
William
A little boy we took out of Radauti public shelter. He was very overwhelmed in there. After being captured, it took a little while for him to want to be friends with our volunteers. He came around and now he's great with the people he knows. He's very sweet with everyone at his safe foster. He is with both cats and dogs. He's very relaxed here and the foster home is quite peaceful. He is small in size and about 2 years old.
Daisy
A girl that Camelia took from the street. She was seen a lot living on the streets and wandering around. We believe she used to visit the market. As most are, she's probably an abandoned pet. When Camelia had room she took her to the dog house for safety. She's been there a little while now and settled well with everyone there. She particularly likes people. She is very friendly and likes the company of people. She gets on well with both dogs and cats. She is medium in size with short legs. She likes her food. She is 3 years old approximately.
Anton
Anton is a year old, medium size, 45cm high, 18kg. He was born on our city's streets alongside three siblings; all of them taken in at two months of age, but none have been adopted since and the entire family is in our care still. He is sociable, playful and sweet, loves being cuddled and receiving attention, having grown up among cats and other dogs, he is friendly around them.
Pufy
A boy saved from a kill station. A lady drove 800km to save him and now has asked Andreea for some help in finding him a home. He is friendly and sweet with both people and dogs. He lives with the lady who rescued him in a home environment. He likes the company of people. He sat very well in the seat of the car when he was saved. Not cat or child tested. He is 3 years old, about 35cms high, medium sized. He weighs around 18kgs.
Eva
A beautiful girl from our family in Romania who have asked for help to find lovely homes for some of their dogs. Eva has a lovely temperament and is a very happy girl. She is a small medium in size. We are told the size of a beagle, but more skinny. She was born in 2018 and is 8 years old. She loves children. We are told she is very active and playful. She likes a lot of exercise. Loves cuddles, treats and running. Likes to kiss you lots too. She has been used to people being around most of the time.
Abbey
A sweet and gentle girl who we rescued from a killing station. Her foster says she's very lovely and a perfect girl. She says she's a dream. She is very friendly and loving to people once she knows them. She can be shy to begin. She is good with dogs, cats, people and has been around older children. She is about 8 years old. She has had a little practice on the lead. She would be happy living with older children over 12. She probably wouldn't want anything too noisy, but would love lots of attention. She needs a person willing to let her gently settle into a new environment.
Salome
A familiar mother on the streets of Tecuci in Romania, where she lived by a railway line. Andreea made space for her and her last litter of pups. She is safe now and has 4 surviving puppies. She is a lovely, gentle girl who gets along well with people and mixes with the other dogs with no problems. There’s not enough information about cats or children. She likes a fuss and attention and has settled in really well in her safe foster home. She is 8 years old, about 47cms high, lab size, and weighs around 20kgs.
Suzette
A little girl who's mother was abandoned on the street when pregnant. Suzette was born next to a railway line. Andreea took her home for safety and has been looking after her since. She is the sweetest little puppy. Friendly, playful and affectionate. She gets along well with both cats and dogs. We think she will be probably medium in size when adult. She is around 8 months old.
Stuart
Stuart and six other puppies were born on the streets of Tecuci. Whilst their mother Salome, along with Shilo, Suzette, and Stella, came into Andreea's care, Stuart was taken in locally by a family that can no longer keep him. Stuart is back in Andreea's care today. He is a gentle, sweet puppy, loves to be cuddled and to receive attention, friendly with the other dogs and been raised around cats. He's around 8 months old, small medium size at 40cm high and weighs around 15kg.
Bimba
Found in a hole on the edge of a town with her siblings. The puppies had dug a hole to live in to keep warm and safe. They are in a safe rescue now. She is very sweet and affectionate. Playful and friendly to people. She has been raised around both cats and dogs. She will probably be a small medium in size when mature. She is around 9 months old. 35-38cm high and 12kg.
Bimba
Blitz
A boy puppy who lived on the outskirts of his town in Romania with his siblings. They dug a hole and practically lived underground to keep away from the elements and danger. They are now in a safe shelter. He is a gentle boy, friendly, playful and sweet. He gets along well with the other dogs and has been around cats. He will be medium in size when fully grown. He is currently 15kg, 40cm high. He loves attention and the company of the people who he has grown to know and trust. He is around 9 months old.
Nike
A little girl who was abandoned on an industrial estate in Tecuci. A car drove up and put her out on the street and drove away. This was captured on cctv. Andreea went searching for her and found her. She had evidence of a chain being around her neck. She is safe and getting on very well now. She is sweet and friendly to everyone. She has been around cats and dogs. She is playful and your typical puppy. She is about 8 months old. She will probably be medium in size when adult.
Betty
A really lovely girl found by our friend Ioana along with two sisters. She is very sweet, affectionate and playful. Your typical puppy who is into the usual puppy things. Eat, sleep and play. She gets along well with everyone and would be a great family puppy. She has a great time in Romania with her foster family, but there's no place like home. She is about 8 months old.
Aza
A puppy girl abandoned in the fields on the edge of a town in Romania with her siblings. She is in safe foster now and has integrated very well there. She loves people and the fuss and attention. She is a playful pup with plenty of energy. She gets along well with cats and dogs. She has met sensible children and enjoys playing. We think she will be medium when grown. She is 8 months old.
Ophelia
Ophelia was found abandoned in the fields on the outskirts of Tecuci and a friend asked to help her. Ophelia is now in our safe shelter; she is a gentle, sweet dog who loves being cuddled and receiving attention, she gets along well with the other dogs and cats in our care. She is around 7-8 months old, small at 30cm high and weighs around 8kg.
Zola
There are a large number of abandoned puppies on the streets of Tecuci and two girls have been taken into safe foster to try to prevent further litters of pups being born. Zola is an adorable girl who likes to play and likes to receive lots of fuss and attention. She is 6 months old approximately and will probably be medium in size at maturity. She has been raised with both dogs and cats.
Franky
Franky is a year old, medium size, 15kg, 40cm. He was rescued from the streets at two months old along with his mother, Felicity, and three siblings. His mum and two siblings have already been adopted but Fiona and Franky are still in our care. He is playful and sweet, loves being cuddled and receiving attention. He is sociable and friendly around both cats and other dogs.
Fiona
Fiona is a year old, medium size, 15kg, 40cm. She was rescued from the streets at two months old along with her mother, Felicity, and three siblings. Her mum and two siblings have already been adopted but Fiona and Franky are still in our care. She is playful and sweet, loves being cuddled and receiving attention.
